Centro 3D-sensor

The HAIMER Centro is a highly precise and versatile coaxial indicator designed for fast and accurate centering of bores and shafts on milling machines and CNC machines. Clamped in the tool holder, it allows operators to locate the exact axis of a workpiece quickly, safely, and repeatably.

At low spindle speed, the probe tip slides along the bore or shaft surface while the movement is transferred directly to the dial gauge. The Centro housing does not rotate with the spindle, ensuring the dial gauge always remains in the operator’s field of view for easy and intuitive readings. As long as the spindle is not aligned with the workpiece axis, the dial will move – and by adjusting the machine’s X and Y axes, precise centering is achieved within seconds.

The Centro can also be used to check face runout and compensate for spindle or tool holder runout errors without additional adjustment. The large dial ensures excellent readability, and interchangeable probe tips can be replaced without tools and without recalibration.
