Recommended concentration

To ensure optimum corrosion protection, an initial concentration of at least 7% is recommended.

The recommended operating concentration depends on the material and specific machining operation:

• Cast iron and steel, general machining: 7–10%
• Cast iron and steel, grinding: approximately 6%

The optimum concentration should be adjusted according to the machining conditions and corrosion protection requirements.

ECOCOOL VHCM-1 CP is suitable for use with soft, medium-hard and hard water. The optimum water temperature when preparing the mixture is 15–20 °C.
