GLYSANTIN G40 ECO pink BMB - 20L
BASF - 50788606

Glysantin G40 ECO BMB from BASF is a premium engine coolant based on advanced Si-OAT hybrid technology. The formulation combines organic corrosion inhibitors with stabilised silicates to ensure optimal, long-term protection of modern cooling systems. The ECO BMB version is manufactured according to the Biomass Balance principle, where fossil raw materials are partially replaced with renewable feedstocks. The pink fluid is based on ethylene glycol and must be diluted with demineralised water before use to achieve the correct level of protection.
Properties
- Corrosion protection: Provides effective and long-lasting protection against corrosion, scale formation and cavitation in vital engine components such as radiators, cylinder heads, engine blocks, water pumps and heat exchangers. The balanced inhibitor package ensures stable protection even under demanding operating conditions.
- Freeze and overheating protection: Delivers reliable freeze protection at low ambient temperatures while maintaining efficient heat transfer and protection against overheating during high thermal loads and extended operating cycles.
- Reduced carbon footprint: Manufactured using Biomass Balance raw materials, reducing the overall CO₂ footprint of the production process without compromising performance, durability or compatibility.
- Compatibility: Suitable for modern passenger cars, heavy-duty trucks, buses, construction equipment and industrial engines where Si-OAT technology is specified, including a wide range of European OEM approvals.
