LS14500 3.6V AA Lithium special battery

SAFT LS14500 is a 3.6V lithium-thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl₂) AA-size battery designed for long-life industrial applications.

It is intended for low-power devices where extended runtime is required. With extremely low self-discharge (<1% per year) and an operating temperature range from −60°C to +85°C, it is suitable for demanding industrial environments.

LS14500 is used as an alternative battery type in selected Renishaw 3D probes and tool setters, depending on the probe configuration and battery cassette design. It is also used in certain DMG MORI OEM probing systems where AA-cell configurations are specified.
