Wireless AC current monitoring sensor

The Neuron Ampere is an IoT sensor that measures AC current using a split-core current transducer, allowing for easy installation around existing cables without disconnecting the circuit. The sensor is available in several measurement ranges, from 10 A to 500 A RMS, making it highly versatile for different applications.

It samples current every 10 seconds and typically reports every 2 minutes. However, the device can instantly transmit if a significant change occurs (e.g. above 20% of full scale). It is powered by an internal battery with an expected lifetime of up to 10 years, providing a low-maintenance solution.

You can configure measurement frequency and alarm thresholds via the Neuron app, and receive notifications when thresholds are exceeded via push notifications, email, or SMS. Commissioning is easy using a QR code on the sensor, which ensures quick registration in the Neuron system.

Typical use cases include monitoring motor currents, HVAC systems, pumps, lighting loads, and general energy usage in industrial and commercial installations.
