Wireless conversion of 4–20 mA analog signal into digital data

The Neuron mA Digitizer and its Precision variant convert a 4–20 mA current loop signal into digital measurements, transmitting wirelessly via the Neuron network. This allows you to bring your existing analog sensors and control loops online without running additional wiring.

The sensor samples every 10 seconds and can be configured to send data immediately if the current changes by more than 2 mA; otherwise, it reports every 2 minutes by default. It runs on an integrated battery with a lifetime of up to 10 years, minimizing maintenance.

Using the Neuron app, you can adjust measurement and reporting frequency and define your own alarm thresholds. Alerts are delivered via push notifications, email, or SMS when thresholds are exceeded. Commissioning is quick and easy using the QR code on the device to register it in your Neuron system.

Common applications include digitizing existing analog sensors in process plants, monitoring control loops, predictive maintenance, and integrating traditional 4–20 mA systems into a modern IoT setup.
