Wireless surface temperature sensor with strip‑PT100

The Neuron PT100 Surface Strip is a wireless IoT sensor that measures surface temperature via a PT100 element embedded in a flexible strip. This strip can be mounted flat against surfaces such as pipes, panels or machine parts, providing accurate temperature readings without the need for rigid probes or drilling.

The sensor samples temperature every 3 seconds and normally reports every 2 minutes. If a rapid temperature change is detected, it sends an immediate alert. The internal battery can last up to 10 years depending on measurement frequency and usage.

Using the Neuron app, you can adjust sampling intervals and define temperature thresholds that trigger alarms. Notifications can be sent via push, email or SMS. Commissioning is simple with the QR code on the device, which registers the sensor directly in the Neuron system.

Typical applications include surface temperature monitoring of pipes, electronic components, motors and transformers – especially where precise temperature data is needed without altering the structure.
