Wireless temperature measurement via PT100 sensor – for both moderate and extreme environments

The Neuron PT100 is a wireless IoT sensor that connects to an external PT100 element and converts its resistance into accurate temperature data. It comes with 40 cm of wiring and can easily be integrated with new or existing PT100 probes — without extensive rewiring or manual readout.

The sensor samples every 3 seconds and normally reports every 2 minutes. However, it triggers an immediate alert if the measured temperature change exceeds a defined critical threshold. Its internal battery is designed to last up to 10 years, ensuring long-term, low-maintenance operation.

The standard PT100 version can measure temperatures between –50 °C and +250 °C, while the High Temperature variant supports a much broader range — from –100 °C to +650 °C, depending on the probe used. Through the Neuron app, you can adjust sampling frequency and alarm thresholds, and receive alerts via push notification, email or SMS.

Typical use cases for the Neuron PT100 include monitoring water temperature, ambient air temperature, or process conditions — for example in cooling systems. The High Temperature version is tailored for challenging environments with high heat, such as furnaces, motors, or hot pipes.
