Wireless counter sensor for pulse signals

The Neuron Pulse Counter is a rugged IoT sensor that accumulates and stores pulses from your device (such as flow meters, energy meters, or other pulse sources), even when out of range of a gateway. When the sensor reconnects with a Neuron Gateway, the stored pulse count is sent to the Neuron Cloud.

The device provides an active 5 V potential in the measurement loop, making it compatible with passive switches such as reed contacts and standard S0‑pulse interfaces. It comes with a cable for easy connection. While it measures continuously, it reports the accumulated value every 2 minutes. The sensor is powered by a long-life battery that can last up to 10 years, depending on pulse frequency and reporting settings.

Through the Neuron app, you can adjust measurement intervals and set alarm thresholds. Alerts are delivered via push notifications, email, or SMS. The device is commissioned quickly via a QR code on the sensor housing.

Typical applications include flow measurement (water, gas or liquid), energy metering via S0‑interface, and general event counting. With IP67 protection, the sensor is suitable for humid environments.
