Wireless water sensor for leak detection

The Neuron Water Detector is a wireless IoT sensor designed for early detection of water leaks in technical rooms, beneath machinery, or near water installations. The sensor detects water contact via a detection tape and immediately transmits data to the Neuron system when moisture is present.

The sensor samples every 3 seconds and typically reports every 2 minutes, but triggers an instant alert for critical changes. The detection tape can be easily mounted using tape or cable ties, and longer tapes can be purchased for larger areas. The device runs on a long-life battery lasting up to 10 years, depending on measurement frequency and environment.

Configuration is done via the Neuron app, allowing adjustment of measurement frequency, alarm thresholds, and notifications via push, email, or SMS. Its IP67-rated enclosure makes it durable and suitable for damp or dusty environments.

Typical applications include monitoring technical rooms, under sinks, beneath water-connected machinery, and other areas at risk of leaks.
