RENOLIN PG 680 - 20L
FUCHS - 600136536

RENOLIN PG 680 is a fully synthetic gear and lubricating oil based on polyalkylene glycol (PAG) technology. It is specifically developed for industrial applications exposed to extremely high thermal and mechanical loads. The oil provides outstanding oxidation and ageing stability, an exceptionally high viscosity index, and excellent viscosity-temperature behaviour. Combined with high load-carrying capacity, low friction characteristics, and superior protection against wear, pitting, and micropitting, RENOLIN PG 680 helps maximize equipment reliability and extend service life.
Its advanced PAG formulation reduces friction and operating temperatures within gear systems, contributing to improved efficiency and reduced energy consumption. The oil also offers excellent bearing protection, corrosion resistance, and low foaming tendencies, ensuring reliable lubrication even under demanding operating conditions.
Applications
RENOLIN PG 680 is designed for heavily loaded industrial gearboxes and circulating lubrication systems, particularly in applications requiring exceptional wear protection and thermal stability. It is suitable for spur, helical, bevel, planetary, and worm gear units, where its low friction properties can provide significant performance advantages compared to conventional mineral oil-based lubricants.
The product is especially recommended for steel-to-bronze sliding contacts found in worm gear drives, where reduced wear and improved efficiency are critical. RENOLIN PG 680 can also be used in rolling and plain bearings, paper machines, calenders, conveyor systems, rolling mills, and other industrial equipment operating under high loads and elevated temperatures.
RENOLIN PG 680 meets relevant industry standards including DIN 51517-3 (CLP-PG) and ISO 12925-1, and is approved by leading gearbox manufacturers for use in demanding industrial applications.
Important Information
When converting to RENOLIN PG 680, a complete oil change should be carried out, as PAG-based lubricants are generally not compatible with conventional mineral oils, PAO-based lubricants, or ester-based oils. Thorough cleaning or flushing of the lubrication system may be required to ensure optimal performance and lubricant life.
