Rivolta K.S.P. 305 Spray - 400ml

RIVOLTA K.S.P. 305 SPRAY – 400 ML is a fully synthetic, high-performance corrosion protection spray developed for medium- and long-term protection of moulds, tools and other metal surfaces. It is particularly suitable for the plastics processing industry, where moulds and tools require reliable protection against corrosion during storage and production shutdowns.

The specially developed formulation forms a dry, adherent protective film on the metal surface. The film does not penetrate into undercuts, cavities or other difficult-to-reach areas of the tool, making the product particularly suitable for complex moulds and precision tooling.

A key advantage is the easy removal of the protective film. Before the tool is returned to service, the film can generally be removed easily without extensive cleaning. This reduces preparation time and makes K.S.P. 305 Spray suitable for both planned production stoppages and longer-term storage.

RIVOLTA K.S.P. 305 SPRAY is an excellent alternative to Chem-Trend Lusin® Protect G31 and can be used for comparable corrosion protection applications involving moulds and tools. Lusin Protect G31 is likewise a wax-based corrosion protection product developed for protecting moulds and dies used for thermoplastic processing.

Application & Storage

The surface to be protected should be clean and dry before application. Apply RIVOLTA K.S.P. 305 SPRAY evenly directly onto the metal surface. Where required, several thin layers can be applied to achieve uniform protection.

Before returning the tool to service, the protective film can generally be removed easily without extensive cleaning.

The product is a flammable aerosol and should be used with adequate ventilation and kept away from heat, sparks and open flames. Store protected from direct sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C.
